This is the home page for the 2000-01 Canadian Subatomic Physics (SAP)
five year planning exercise. This exercise follows the previous one,
known as the Fenton plan. The goal is to
define the priorities for the field for the next 5 years and beyond to
guide decisions made by funding agencies. The document is also
intended to be used as a lobbying tool to promote the field. To this
end it will be used as input to the SAP steering committee for the
next NSERC reallocations exercise.
The procedures to be followed
to receive input from the community are described in a memo under
Memos below. We ask that all submissions,
comments, and questions be directed to
fypc@triumf.ca rather than to individual members of the
committee. Inquiries can also be made to the chair [ Paul Vincett ] or the
deputy chair [ Mike Vetterli ].
